By cutting out doors and windows we build a house and upon the empty space within, its usefulness relies   (Tao te ching, Lao Tzu)

 The creation of the different elements of that installation have been a slow meditation about the things that once happened. I discovered the traces in the form of old books, the mathematic exercise books of my grandfather, carefully written in his accurate letters, during his time at the university in 1918. The pages of these books have been transformed,slowly, page for page, covering them with oil pastels and writing on them whatever crossed my head, using the silk papers which later covered the windows of the gallery in the cultural centre " Alter Wiehrebahnhof" , in Freiburg, Germany
